Veritas Accounting started with a very direct problem. When my wife started her business in Luxembourg, I found myself managing the accounting - because finding reliable, English-language support turned out to be surprisingly difficult.
As someone with a background in accounting, private equity, and fund operations, I knew this did not have to be the case. The gap I saw was not a technical one, it was a communication one. I founded Veritas Accounting to fill it - for anyone running a business in Luxembourg who wants a straight answer in plain language, whether you've been here for decades or just arrived.

Legally, no. But at the same time there are legal requirements to use Luxembourg Chart of Accounts for your accounting, keep accounting records for a number of years even after stopping the business, file annual accounts information and VAT with eCDF portal, file statutory accounts with Luxembourg Commercial Register (RCS), submit corporate and VAT tax returns. If you know what you are doing, you can do anything. But why learn accounting when you can focus on your business.
A simple activity with a handful of transactions costs €1,500–2,500/year. Active SMEs with monthly bookkeeping and VAT typically work on a retainer from €350–500/month. A transparent fee proposal is provided before any engagement. First consultation is free.
